Happy Mardi Gras!! Tonight for dinner I made jambalaya, hurricanes, and beignets for dessert. I rock. Soooo yummy. Soooo bad for you.
Went to Bed Bath and Beyond today to get a duvet for my new down comforter. It's red striped. It's very pretty.
Tomorrow is the bank and Victoria's Secret. Since I got that extra $100 from SUNY Albany and the $13 from the CD monopoly case and $25 from Aunt Barbara for my birthday, I figure I can splurge a bit and get some things I've wanted.
Beth comes this weekend. We are going to go see Gypsy (another thing I have to do this week - go get tickets) and get our nails done and go out drinking. It's gonna be a blast. It's really rare that Beth and I get together but I'm actually excited about this visit. Maybe because it's on my own turf. I think she's excited too.
My knee is still f-ed up from the party on Saturday. I swear, by the time I'm 50 I'll have 2 metal knees, 2 metal hips, and they'll be working on some metal ankles. I wonder why I'm so easy to injure...
OK, I'm off to eat beignets and watch American Idol and Top Model.
